PhD Student

Phornnaphat (Dream) Chertchinnapa has an interdisciplinary background in pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy) and molecular biology (MSc). Her research focuses on infectious diseases—including HPV, Dengue, and COVID-19—using dynamic transmission models and economic evaluations to guide vaccine policy decisions. With more than three years of experience applying data-driven modelling to inform health policy at both local and regional levels, she collaborates with local and international partners to translate research into actionable public health strategies.

At SSHSPH, her PhD research explores how changes in sexual behaviour and demographic trends shape infectious disease dynamics through mathematical modelling.

Dream loves sugar but Healthy SG does not support this love. This is unfortunate because her productivity is directly associated with her sugar intake.
