Mousumi is interested in understanding human mobility patterns and their impact on the spread of infectious diseases. She is currently developing a modelling framework to assess how commuting populations influence disease transmission networks.

Mousumi enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and exploring unfamiliar cultures. She also loves to draw, with a particular interest in Indian folk art forms.
