Amriit Mohapatra

Research Assistant

Amriit is an infectious disease modelling researcher on Prof. Alex’s team at the Centre of Epidemic Research and Modelling. His work involves building and implementing statistical models to study infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and Dengue. He focussed on case count predictions, parameter estimations, and heterogeneities in IDM.

He is also an incoming PhD Student at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health and will tentatively start in August 2025.

Apart from work, he spends time walking outdoors, exploring nearby places, and listening to music. He is also an aviation enthusiast and likes to learn more about aeroplanes (preferably airliners).
