Research Assistant

Guan Tong works in Borame’s team under infectious diseases, where her work centeres on agent-based and microsimulation modeling, assessing how interventions like, vaccination, and targeted treatments can reduce transmission in various infectious disease scenarios. By examining factors such as animal reservoirs, animal behaviours, cross-border risks, she provides modelling insights that inform practical strategies for managing emerging and existing diseases.

Outside of work, she enjoys skiing during the winter in her hometown, loves animals, and her family keeps two cats there.
