Alec Morton
Associate Professor
Alec is primarily a health economist, and has spent most of his life in the UK and Singapore. His work on infectious disease mostly relates to various projects on evaluation of new technologies to combat antimicrobial resistance. He was also at one point a consultant to the Global Fund on AIDS, TB and Malaria.
At the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, he directs PHRISM, the School’s centre on Non-Communicable Disease modelling, and the MSc Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
A fun fact is that before finding his way to public health, he worked for Singapore Airlines as a systems planner for the airline’s cargo operations.
